Costa Blanca, a chain of small paradices

of 20 degrees Celsius.

The temperature in the ' coldest ' months, January and February,
lies around the 18 degrees Celsius!

Until the end of October it's still pleasant to swim in the sea.

Due to the unique position and the natural circumstances,
a microclimate has arisen with a high iodine quality in air
and low air humidity.

The climate is called most agreeably of Europe by The World Health Organisation. This is due to the wind current between the mountains, which ensure such air humidity that the climate is very pleasant for people with, for example, rheumatism.

But the whole year around one can enjoy the lovely, many terraces, the tapaz bars, café's, sociable boulevards, delicious gastronomically restaurants, beach bars and so on, where we can't go by the still very low prices which Spain has still. A splendid region, where one in abundance enjoys sun, flat sand beaches, festivals and gastronomy.

Costa Blanca North characterise themselves by its green and mountainous character with steep cliff's. The hinterland is well known for their splendid landscapes. Along this coast lie well-known places such as Benidorm, Denia and Altea.

Costa Blanca south, where Campoamor lies, is famous for the many extended sand beaches, the superb walking promenades with all the conceivable supplies and the many golf courses. Furthermore there are a lot of large and small harbours, shops and restaurants.

The coast line counts, beside golden sand beaches, surprisingly picturesque fisherman and luxuriously harbours. Cities like Alicante , Elche , Murcia and Orihuela are rich in culture, history and nature, wrapped in the aromas of dozens of types of flowers and plants, which surround this typical couleurlocal. A well-known holiday destination in the surroundings of Campoamor is Torrevieja. Torrevieja lies on approx.8 km. of Campoamor and in the summer holiday period the city 'grows from 70.000 to 150.000 inhabitants, mainly Spain people who come there to enjoy their holiday!

You'll also find here, within 10 kilometres, 2 harbours; a nice area for people who like water sports or spotting yacht's.

Summarised: Orihuela-costa offers a scale of leisure activities and culture. The region is characterised by citrus cultivation and salt production, by beautiful beaches and the blue streamer of the sea, surrounded by special cities like Alicante , Murcia and Valencia .
